If you’ve logged into Twitter within the last 24 hours, you might be greeted by a surprising sight—heaps and heaps of pictures of awkward celebrity throwback photos. It’s only natural, then, to wonder why in the world your feed has been taken over by funny looking TBTs, but as we’ve found out, it’s for the best of reasons.
The photos come from an initiative called “Puber Me,” which Stephen Colbert and his guest Nick Kroll created on The Late Show Wednesday night. The duo agreed to donate money to Puerto Rico’s recovery efforts each time a celeb posted one of their less-than-flattering childhood photos, and since then, the #PuberMe challenge has taken off.
The best princesses either have talking animals or poison apples. While these apples are (thankfully) poison-free, they definitely look the part. And since it seems unlikely you’ll be able to train Fluffy to talk by Halloween, they’re the next best thing to go with your fair-maiden costume. The Milan fashion week may now be over and the models are now departing for the runways in Paris, and what sartorial inspiration they’ve left in their wake. This season, the street style crew embraced pajama dressing and the cozy Danish hygge phenomenon in new and wonderful ways, proving that getting decked out for the photographers outside the shows doesn’t have to mean sacrificing comfort. There were silk pants with fuzzy, furry moccasins, overcoats with easy button-down blouses, and white denim (yes, after Labor Day) with slides and thin silk scarves. It was as if the most stylish travelers were living that dolce vita life, valuing ease over edge and backing away from full lewks—though, unlike most locals, they probably didn’t squeeze in that classic afternoon nap.

After inciting controversy over his depiction of Wonder Woman as a “step backward” for women in Hollywood last month, James Cameron is back in the spotlight for new comments about the blockbuster.
The Titanic director came under fire yet again on Wednesday, as he told The Hollywood Reporter that he stands by his original statements from his contentious interview with the The Guardian. “I mean, [Gal Gadot] was Miss Israel, and she was wearing a kind of bustier costume that was very form-fitting. She’s absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. To me, that’s not breaking ground,” he argued. “They had Raquel Welch doing stuff like that in the ’60s.”
